The Oppo F9 is the latest selfie expert smartphone from Oppo. The handset has been announced in markets like Vietnam and Philippines. Very soon the smartphone will be also coming to other southeast Asian countries such as Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. India is expected to receive the same phone as Oppo F9 Pro. The handset comes with an attractive waterdrop display design and 25-megapixel AI powered selfie camera.
OPPO F9 Specifications, Features and Pricing
The OPPO F9 features glass panels on its front and rear and its comes in three attractive color gradient variants such as Sunrise Red, Twilight Blue and Starry Purple. It is fitted with 6.3-inch LTPS IPS LCD display that produces 19.5:9 aspect ratio that offers Full HD+ resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The company claims that the waterdrop screen offers 90.8 percent screen-to-body ratio.
The Helio P60 SoC that includes 2.0 GHz octa-core processor drives the OPPO F9 along with 4 GB of RAM. Some markets may receive it in 6 GB as well as 4 GB RAM variants. It has a native storage of 64 GB. There is a dedicated microSD card slot on the phone. The Android 8.1 Oreo OS skinned with ColorOS 5.2 is available on the OPPO F9.
The 25-megapixel selfie camera of the OPPO F9 with sensor HDR hardware and AI can shoot good images in any kind of lighting conditions. The back panel of the phone features 16-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera setup. The 3,500mAh battery of the OPPO F9 supports VOOC flash charging which allows it to gain 2 hours of battery life when it is charge for 5 minutes only.
In Vietnam, the phone is now available on pre-orders its releasing in the market on Aug. 24 with a price tag of VND 7,990,000 ($340). In Philippines, the handset is priced at PHP 17,990 ($335). The country will start with its pre-orders on Aug. 24 and it will be hitting the market on Aug. 29.
