OPPO’s first-ever foldable smartphone – OPPO Find N – was a huge success in it’s domestic market with all available units getting sold out during it’s debut sale in China. Now, the company’s president (for OPPO China) Liu Bo has revealed on his Weibo handle that the brand is currently facing supply shortage due to the overwhelming demand that exceeded it’s initial initial forecast.
Adding on, he also came forward to explain some reasons for the OPPO Find N’s success in the Chinese market. Some of the most prominent reasons include it’s stellar design with an amical form factor, absence of crease on it’s inner display as well as it’s affordable launch price which makes the phone more accessible to mainstream consumers.
Despite it’s success in the Chinese market, OPPO had previously confirmed that the OPPO Find N will not be heading to the global market as the company probably intend to use the debut model as a platform to gauge consumer interest, before it launches the first foldable in the global market.
