OPPO Find N2, Find N2 Flip Tipped to Launch on December 15

OPPO is reportedly working on its next-generation foldables. Reports say that the company will show off its foldable Find N2 and Find N2 Flip phones at the upcoming INNO Day 2022 event. A new leak that has appeared on Weibo reveals the date on which the new OPPO foldables will go official.

According to tipster Panda is Bald, OPPO’s “Technology Strategy Conference” (machine translation), which appears to be the INNO Day 2022 event, will be held on Dec. 14 in China. On the next day (Dec. 15), the company will announce the OPPO Find N2 Flip and the Find N2. A recent report claimed that the Find N2 Flip will also debut in the global market at a later date. There is no information on whether the Find N2 will be available in markets outside of China.

According to reports, the Find N2 Flip would feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED foldable display that produces a Full + resolution of 1080 x 2520 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The N2 Flip is believed to be powered by the Dimensity 9000 chipset. It is anticipated to feature as much as 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. It may include a 4,300mAh battery with support for 44W rapid charging.

It will have a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. A 50-megapixel (Sony IMX890) + 8-megapixel (Sony IMX355, ultra-wide) dual-camera system and a 3.26-inch OLED cover display will be located on the rear panel of the phone.

The Oppo Find N2 reportedly include a foldable 7.1-inch E6 AMOLED 120Hz display with a resolution of 1920 x 1792 pixels. On the device’s front will feature a 5.54-inch E6 AMOLED 120Hz display with a resolution of 2120 x 1080 pixels. The N2 will utilise the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor and a 4,520mAh battery with 67W rapid charging capabilities.

On the interior is a foldable screen with an additional 32-megapixel camera. For selfies, it will have a 32-megapixel front camera. The device’s primary rear camera is a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 lens with optical image stabilisation. The primary camera will be assisted by a 48-megapixel Sony IMX581 camera with a 114-degree viewing angle and a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 telephoto camera.

Both devices are likely to feature a side-facing fingerprint scanner. These foldables are expected to run on the ColorOS 13-based Android 13 OS.
