Besides unveiling the OPPO Find X2 and Find X2 Pro during the recent launch event, OPPO had also announced an ultra-premium flagship known as the OPPO Find X2 Pro Lamborghini Edition.
According to OPPO, this device will finally go on sale in the Chinese market starting March 24th next week. Reservations for the device had already kicked off in China starting today.
Although it is a really fanciful smartphone, but not much attention was paid to it due to it’s hefty price tag which not many would be willing to fork out. In the Chinese market, the OPPO Find X2 Pro Lamborghini Edition commands a price of 12,999 Yuan (US$1,833) for it’s sole 12GB+512GB model.
It’s lavish outlook is inspired by the limited edition Lamborghini Aventador SVR Roadster. The surface of it’s rear panel features a carbon-fibre texture which simulates the interior of the super car.
In fact, the OPPO Find X2 Pro Lamborghini Edition is said to be the first smartphone to utilize a hot forging glass technology to create the phone’s solid and smooth texture.
Surely, OPPO isn’t the only smartphone brand that have teamed up with luxury sports car brands to release an ultra-premium version of their flagship devices.
In recent months, Huawei had partnered with Porsche for the company’s latest Mate 30 Pro flagship, while OnePlus had joined hands with McLaren for the design of the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G.
