It is an all-rounded flagship series which has achieved perfection across it’s front display, device’s performance, camera system, all the way to it’s fast-charging technology. In short, the Find X2 series is simply superior across all metrics.

During today’s launch event, a total of two devices were announced including the OPPO Find X2 and Find X2 Pro. In fact, both devices share a huge similarities in terms of their key specs, with the most notable differences lie within their camera system.

OPPO Find X2

For starter, the Find X2 arrives with a 6.78-inches QHD+ display with a buttery-smooth 120Hz screen refresh rate. It is the first flagship device capable of supporting QHD+ screen resolution at 120Hz refresh rate. The Samsung Galaxy S20 series on the other hand, is only able to support FHD+ resolution if you choose to opt for a 120Hz refresh rate.

OPPO Find X2 Color Options

Besides that, the front display is also capable of supporting up to one billion variations of colours and a peak brightness of 1,200nits which deliver an immersive graphical experience for it’s users.

At the helm, the OPPO Find X2 is driven by the latest Snapdragon 865 SoC which will be paired with a X55 modem which allows the device to support 5G connectivity in both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) modes. This will be paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and a hefty 256GB UFS 3.0 flash storage.

Moving on to it’s camera, the Find X2 utilizes a vertically-aligned triple-camera setup on it’s rear panel which comprises of a 48 megapixels main shooter, 12 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as an 13 megapixels telephoto lens. The hole-punched compartment on the front panel will also be housing a 32 megapixels shooter.

Under the hood, the Find X2 will be fueled by a massive 4,200mAh battery which supports the latest 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 flash-charging which could bring the device from 0 to 100% within a short span of just 38 minutes.

OPPO Find X2 Pro

As mentioned previously, the main difference between the Find X2 and the Find X2 Pro boils down to the rear camera system. Most specifically, the Find X2 Pro will feature a beefed up camera system which comprises of a 48 megapixels Sony IMX689 main shooter, 48 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a 13 megapixels periscope lens.

Courtesy of the main camera’s Dual Native ISO technology and f/1.7 large aperture, the Find X2 Pro is able to shoot high quality images even under extreme low-light conditions.

The periscope camera of the Find X2 Pro allows the device to achieve up to 10x hybrid zoom, as well as up to 60x digital zoom. This in fact exceeds Huawei P30 Pro’s 50x digital zoom, but sits behind the Galaxy S20 Ultra’s 100x Space Zoom.

As expected, the OPPO Find X2 Pro has now dethroned the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro as the top performer on DxOMark’s mobile camera chart. Surely, the upcoming Huawei P40 Pro, scheduled to be announced on March 26th, will face an onerous challenge to regain the top position for Huawei on DxOMark.

Other than that, the Find X2 Pro will also feature a slightly bigger 4,260mAh battery which also supports the same SuperVOOC 2.0 fast-charging technology. Last but not the least, the Find X2 Pro also utilizes the latest LPDDR5 RAM technology as well.
