Previously, OPPO had scheduled an official launch event in Barcelona on February 22nd for their upcoming OPPO Find X2 flagship. However, due to the abrupt cancellation of the MWC 2020 trade show, the launch event was pushed back to an unspecified date in March.
Right now, thanks to a teaser image we obtained, it seems like the OPPO Find X2 will be made official on March 6th. During the same day, we’re likely to see the unveiling of OPPO’s new smartwatch as well.
As usual, the upcoming OPPO Find X2 is expected to feature a revolutionary and futuristic design that will continue to impress. It will be the company’s first Snapdragon 865-fueled smartphone which has an immersive 2K OLED panel which supports up to 120Hz screen refresh rate.
Recently, the device was listed by OPPO Vietnam on one of the Asian eCommerce giant Shopee along with some of it’s key specs. This includes a 6.5-inches AMOLED display, Corning Gorilla 6, 8GB RAM, 256GB onboard memory, 4,065mAh battery, as well as Android 10.
Camera-wise, the OPPO Find X2 is expected to arrive with a triple-camera setup at the back comprising of a 48 megapixels main shooter, 8 megapixels secondary shooter (likely to be an ultra-wide lens), as well as a 13 megapixels tertiary sensor (likely to be a telephoto lens). It’s front-facing camera on the other hand, is expected to be a 32 megapixels sensor.
No doubt, the OPPO Find X2 will be an exciting smartphone for us to look forward to. Most of us definitely can’t wait to see how well the Find X2 will go up against the current powerhouse including the Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus and Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro.
We’ll definitely hear more about the Find X from OPPO in the coming days as well. In related news, the OPPO Reno3 Pro (Global variant) will debut in India on March 2nd.
