OPPO had confirmed earlier this week that the company will be launching it’s next-generation’s Find X series smartphones during the first-quarter of 2022. Based on the naming scheme which OPPO has maintained over the past three years for it’s flagship Find X series line, we can well expect the forthcoming flagship series to be launched under the Find X4 moniker.
As usual, the company is expected to launch at least two models within the upcoming Find X4 series including the top-of-the-line OPPO Find X4 Pro as well as the vanilla Find X4. While it’s pretty confirmed that the Pro model will feature the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, there’s no words on the underlying chip for the Find X4.
However, according to the latest information from a rather reputable Chinese tipster, the OPPO Find X4 is expected to powered by the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset. This kind of makes sense since the OPPO Find X3 also adopts a toned-down Snapdragon 870 platform over the Snapdragon 888 chip found in the Find X3 Pro.
Sad to say, there wasn’t any mention on the rest of it’s specs even though we’d already learned quite a fair bit about the OPPO Find X4 Pro thanks to a recent leak which revealed that the phone will be arriving with a 6.7” OLED display that offers a 2K screen resolution topped with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate which is likely to be adaptive in nature.
Also, the OPPO Find X4 Pro is tipped to arrive with a triple-camera setup on the rear side which will be lead by a pair of 50MP cameras along with either a 12MP/ 13MP telephoto lens which supports 2x optical zoom. This will be rounded out by a 32 megapixels selfie camera upfront.
Unlike the existing Find X3 series smartphones, the OPPO Find X4 Pro will be arriving with an upgraded 80W fast-charging support as well.
