Redmi K50 series to launch in February next year

Although past reports had claimed that the Redmi K50 series could be launched by the end of the year, but fresh information from reputable tipster Digital Chat Station has suggested that the much anticipated smartphone series would be launched in February next year instead.

While he didn’t go into deep details pertaining to smartphones, but reports had revealed that the Redmi K50 series is expected to feature at least four different models which would be adopting a mix of high-end chipsets including the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, Snapdragon 870, MediaTek Dimensity 9000, as well as Dimensity 7000.

Also, it was speculated that the two models equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 9000 and Dimensity 7000 chipsets are gaming edition models, while the vanilla Redmi K50 is likely to settle with a Snapdragon 870 chip. Naturally, we can expect the Redmi K50 Pro/ Pro+ to be powered by the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip.

Other than that, we’d also heard in the past that some of the Redmi K50 models would features an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, as well as a blazing-fast 100W charging speed. As for the rest of the specs, we’ll probably learn more about them in the upcoming days.
