Recent reports have suggested that OPPO will be launching it’s brand new OPPO Find X5 series smartphones during the first-quarter of the year. Ahead of it’s launch, a series of official-looking renders of the OPPO Find X5 Pro had made their way to the web, revealing everything we need to know about the phone’s design.
As seen on the renders, the upcoming OPPO Find X5 Pro appears to retains pretty much the same design upfront, donning a curved display that features a hole-punch cutout on the upper-left corner of the screen.
It was claimed that the front display is a 6.7” LTPO AMOLED display that offers a sharp-looking 3216×1440 pixels screen resolution along with up to 120Hz (adaptive) refresh rate. As usual, it’s also expected to feature other high-end stuffs such as support for 10-bit color depth, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, as well as an advance in-display fingerprint scanner.
On the rear side of the phone, the OPPO Find X5 Pro also seems to retain a similar unibody design for it’s rear camera module even though it comes with a slightly different shape this time round.
Interestingly, the OPPO Find X5 Pro will be the first OPPO flagship phone to have it’s rear camera co-engineered with optic specialist Hasselblad, just like the OnePlus 10 Pro. Also, it’s imaging hardware will also be supplemented by the company’s in-house MariSilicon X NPU which was announced during last year’s OPPO INNO Day.
Coming to it’s camera hardware, it’s triple-camera system is said to include a pair of 50 megapixels Sony IMX766 sensors for it’s main and ultra-wide cameras. Other than that, there’s also a 13 megapixels telephoto lens that capable of achieving up to 5x hybrid zoom and as much as 20x digital zoom. This will be rounded out by a 32 megapixels Sony IMX709 selfie camera upfront.
Under the hood, the OPPO Find X5 Pro is expectedly powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile platform which will be paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB built-in storage. It will also feature a massive 5,000mAH power supply with an upgraded 80W (wired) charging speed.
