Last month, the upcoming OPPO phones for China with model numbers PFFM10 and PFEM10 were spotted at the 3C certification site. It is believed that these devices will debut in China as the Find X5 and Find X5 Pro. Now, both models have bagged TENAA certification through which their major specs have been revealed. The Find X5 series is scheduled to launch on Feb. 24 in China and it will be globally announced on Feb. 28 during the MWC 2022 tech trade show.
OPPO Find X5, X5 Pro Specifications (Rumored)
The OPPO Find X5 Pro measures 163.7 x 73.9 x 8.5mm and weighs 218 grams. It features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display that offers a Quad HD+ resolution of 3216 x 1440 pixels. It has a 32-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel + 50-megapixel + 13-megapixel triple rear cameras.
The device is powered by a 2.99GHz chip, which appears to be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The device will arrive in China with 8 GB / 12 GB / 16 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB / 512 GB of storage It has a 2,440mAh dual-cell battery, which is speculated to offer a combined capacity of 5,000mAh (typical value).
The OPPO Find X5 has 160.3 x 72.6 x 8.7mm dimensions and it weighs 196 grams. The device has a 6.55-inch AMOLED FHD+ display, a 32-megapixel front camera, and a 50-megapixel + 50-megapixel + 13-megapixel triple camera unit on the rear. The 2.84GH chip powering the device could be the Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC. The device is expected to arrive in China with 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of storage. It has a 2,340mAh dual-cell battery. Its combined capacity is said to be 4,800mAh (typical value).
The 3C certification of both devices revealed that they may carry support for 80W fast charging. Both devices are likely to offer 50W wireless charging. These devices are equipped with an in-screen fingerprint scanner and are expected to run on Android 12 OS. While the Find X5 will come in white, black, and purple colors, the Pro model will be available in white, black, and blue in China.
OPPO will be holding the Find X5 series launch event at 7 PM on Feb. 24 in China. According to tipster Bald is Panda, apart from the Find X5 series, the event will also see the arrival of other devices such as the OPPO Pad tablet, OPPO Watch 2’s new color variants, and Enco X2 TWS earbuds.
