The OPPO Find X6 series is expected to debut in Q1 2023. However, the rumor mill has been actively leaking information about the Find X6 lineup. In a Weibo post, tipster Digital Chat Station shared key details of the X6 lineup’s cameras.
According to the tipster, the Find X6 series’ camera setup will have a 1-inch Sony IMX989 main camera. It will be accompanied by two 50-megapixel cameras. In addition, the X6 series will come equipped with an improved MariSilicon X, which will offer chip-level 4K HDR night scene video recording.
To recall, the Find X5 and Find X5 Pro featured the same rear camera setup. Hence, it is likely that the Find X6 and X6 Pro will come equipped with triple 50-megapixel cameras on the back. In a previous leak, the leaker had reportedly tipped a 50-mgeapixel + 50-megapixel + 32-megapixel triple camera unit for the vanilla X6.
Previous reports have claimed that the Find X6 will feature an OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution and a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. On the other hand, the Find X6 Pro will be equipped with a 2K OLED panel and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform. The other details of the Find X6 are yet to be revealed.
Before the Find X6 series arrives in China and global markets, OPPO will be unveiling a couple of new phones this year in the home market. Later this month, the company is expected to announce the OPPO A58 5G, the OPPO A98 5G, and the Reno 9 series of smartphones. The Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1-powered Find N2 foldable and Find N Flip clamshell areexpected to launch in December.
