In April of this year, Oppo announced the Oppo K12 equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip for the Chinese market. A new leak, courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station, has revealed the existence of the Oppo K12 Plus. Here’s a look at everything that’s known about the new K-series phone.
Oppo K12 Plus key specifications (rumored)
According to the tipster, the Oppo K12 Plus will come equipped with a Snapdragon 7 series chipset and a massive 6,400mAh battery. On the front, it will have a flat display and its back panel will look identical to the K12. The device is also tipped to come in a white variant.
Recently, a new Oppo smartphone bearing the PKS110 model number was spotted in the databases of China’s radio certification platform and Geekbench. The latter revealed that it features the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip and 12 GB of RAM. The device was found to be equipped with Android 14, which probably has the ColorOS 14 skin on top.
It appears that the Oppo PKS110 could be the model number of the Oppo K12 Plus smartphone. A previous leak by the tipster suggested that it will feature an OLED panel that produces an FHD+ resolution.
The K12 Plus may feature a 50-megapixel primary camera on its back. It is also expected to arrive with support for 80W fast charging. The rest of the device’s details are under wraps.
There is a possibility that the K12 Plus may get rebranded as a OnePlus phone in the global market. The reason behind it is that the K12 and K12x that have launched earlier this year in China have been rebranded as the OnePlus Nord CE 4 and Nord CE 4 Lite, respectively, in the global market.
