OPPO will be launching the brand new OPPO K9 smartphone on May 6th that’s going to succeed the OPPO K7 smartphone which was announced back in August last year.
Now, ahead of its actual unveiling, the OPPO K9 has been listed across several online retailers along with its official renders that provide us a good look at its front and rear design.
As seen from its renders, the OPPO K9 will be arriving with the usual hole-punch cutout on the upper-left corner of its front display. Since the phone lacks a side or rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, its likely to be an AMOLED display upfront. Furthermore, its alleged TENAA listing also suggested that its front display measures around 6.43” and offers a FHD+ screen resolution.
Around the back of the phone, there’s also a rectangular camera island which houses a triple-camera system lead by a 64 megapixels main camera. The front-facing camera on the other hand, is said to be a 32 megapixels snapper.
Under the hood, the OPPO K9 is expected to be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 765G/ 768G chipset which is paired with 8GB RAM according to its recent Geekbench listing. Similarly, the phone also draws power from a 4,200mAh battery which carries support for 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 flash charging.
