The upcoming OPPO K9s was recently found listed for reservations at JD.com in China. The listing reveals that the pre-orders of the phone will begin on Oct. 20, which suggested that it may launch on the same date. Today, the company rolled out an official confirmation that the OPPO K9s will be made official at 2 PM (local time) on Oct. 20.
The OPPO K9s will be aimed towards the upcoming Nov. 11 (Double Eleven) shopping festival in China. As can be seen in the above poster, the K9s will be available with other OPPO products during the shopping festival.
OPPO K9s Specifications
Reports have revealed that the OPPO K9s has a 6.59-inch LTPS FHD+ 120Hz screen. For photography, it has a front camera of 16-megapixel and a 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera unit on the back.
The Snapdragon 778G chipset is present under the hood of the OPPO K9s. The JD listing of the phone revealed that it will be available in two variants such as 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage.
The K9s is backed by a 5,000mAh battery, which seems to support 30W rapid charging. The device will be available in three colors such as Magic Purple Quicksand, Neon Silver Sea, and Obsidian Warrior.
The OPPO K9s will be the third instalment in the K9 series, which includes phones like the OPPO K9 and K9 Pro. At present, there is no information available on the pricing of the K9s.
