OPPO K9s Likely to Launch Soon, Key Details Emerge

OPPO announced the OPPO K9 back in May and it was followed up with OPPO K9 Pro in September. Fresh information reveals that the company is gearing up to launch another K9-series phone called the OPPO K9s. Tipster WHY LAB from China has shared some posters to reveal the design and key features of the smartphone.

The leak reveals that the OPPO K9s will offer major attractions such as a 120Hz display, Snapdragon 778G chipset, and an X-axis linear motor for 4D in-game vibrations. The images also show that it will be available in multiple colors like black, silver, and gradient purple.

The OPPO K9s appears to be the OPPO phone with PERM10 model number that was approved by the TENAA regulatory body recently. The device measures 164.43 x 75.88 x 8.52mm and weighs 199 grams. It has a 6.59-inch LTPS panel that offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2412 pixels.

It has a front camera of 16-megapixel, and its rear shell has a 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera unit. The phone runs on Android 11 OS. For security, it has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The device is backed by a 4,880mAh rated battery. Its 3C certification revealed that it may ship with a 30W fast charger. The handset is expected to release in China with 6 GB / 8 GB RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of storage. There is no word on the launch date of the device. However, it appears that it may go official this month in the home market.

Interestingly, the specifications of the OPPO K9s are identical to the Realme RMX3461 phone, which is expected to debut as the Realme Q3s in the Chinese market soon.
