Realme GT Neo 2T Has Dimensity 1200, Confirms Realme

Realme will be announcing the Realme GT Neo 2T smartphone on Oct. 19 in China. Yesterday, the company showcased the rear design of the phone and confirmed that it will be available in at least black and white colors. Today, the company revealed through its Weibo handle that the Neo 2T will be powered by a custom Dimensity 1200 AI chipset.

In March, Realme unveiled the Realme GT Neo in China as the world’s first phone powered by the Dimensity 1200 chipset. Last month, we saw the arrival of the Snapdragon 870 powered Realme GT Neo 2 in the home market. The GT Neo 2T will be the second phone from the brand to feature the D1200 chip.

Reports have revealed that the Realme phone with RMX3357 model number that was spotted at Chinese certification sites like 3C and TENAA will be debuting under the GT Neo 2T moniker. The device is expected to house a 6.43-inch AMOLED display, which will offer an FHD+ resolution, a high refresh rate, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner.

The rear panel of the phone might house a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel superwide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. For selfies, the device may house a 16-megapixel front camera.

The D1200 AI chip will be accompanied by 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of storage. It may house a 4,500mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging. It will run on Android 11 OS. However, it is yet to be confirmed whether it will feature the Realme UI 2.0 or the latest Realme UI 3.0.
