OPPO Reno 5 to Arrive with 65W Fast Charging

OPPO is expected to soon announce the OPPO Reno 5 series of smartphones in China. It is believed that the PEGM00 / PEGT00 OPPO phone that was recently certified by the TENAA authority of China could be the Reno 5 smartphone. Today, a reliable tipster from China shared some information about the Reno5 series.

According to the tipster, the OPPO Reno 5 will be equipped with a dual-cell battery and it will arrive with support for 65W fast charging. It is likely to arrive in four color variants such as Starry Dream, Aurora Blue, Moonlight Black, and Star Wish Red, and in a leather version. The tipster did not share any other details on the specs of the Reno 5.

Earlier this month, TENAA approved the OPPO PEGM00 / PEGT00 smartphone. Rumors have it that it could be the Reno 5. The handset measures 159.1 x 73.4 x 7.9mm and it weighs 172 grams. The handset is fitted with an AMOLED screen that measures 6.43 inches and it carries support for a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The screen offers a tall aspect ratio of 20:9 and is integrated with a fingerprint scanner.

The handset is fueled by an octa-core processor that clocks at 2.4GHz processor. It is unclear which processor is present under the hood of the device. The SoC is coupled with 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM and storage editions like 128 GB / 256 GB. There is a microSD card slot onboard or additional storage.

The PEGM00 / PEGT00 phone has a 2,100mAh dual battery. The same tipster had revealed that the total capacity of its battery could be 4,300mAh and it will support 65W fast charging. It has a front camera of 32-megapixel and a 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel quad camera system.
