Last month, OPPO unveiled the OPPO Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro smartphones in India. These phones are expected to be released in other markets in the coming days. It appears that the Reno 8 series will also include another model called the Reno 8z, which will be positioned below the Reno 8. Rumors surrounding the Reno 8z have revealed that it could be similar to the Reno 7z in terms of specifications. Today, reputed tipster Evan Blass released the first-ever poster of the Reno 8z to reveal its design.
The OPPO Reno 8z poster shows that its appearance will be similar to the Reno 7z. The rear shell of the phone features a triple camera unit and an LED flash. The handset has a boxy design with flat edges. A microphone is available on the top edge of the device, whereas its left side is fitted with a SIM card slot and volume buttons.
The front design of the phone is yet to be confirmed. It is most likely to feature an AMOLED display with a punch-hole design and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. A couple of images of the phone’s prototype have appeared through its NCC certification in Taiwan. One of the images showed that its bottom edge has a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB-C port, a microphone, and a speaker grille.
