OPPO Reno 9 Series Launch Date Seemingly Confirmed

The OPPO Reno 9 series launch date appears to be confirmed. People who have been invited to the launch of the Reno 9 series are now posting about it on Weibo. The images shared on Weibo revealed that OPPO will unveil the next Reno phones at 2:30 pm (local time) on Nov. 24 in China.

The image below, which showed when the Reno 9 series would come out, has been taken down from Weibo. Today, OPPO is scheduled to launch the OPPO A1 Pro 5G phone in China. It appears that the launch date for the Reno 9 series will be officially confirmed by the brand tomorrow or in the next few days.

OPPO Reno 9 Series Specifications (Rumored)

The OPPO Reno 9 series renders and specifications have already leaked. Rumors are rife that the Reno 9, Reno 9 Pro, and Reno 9 Pro will feature the same 6.7-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display with curved edges and an under-display fingerprint scanner.

The Reno 9 is expected to feature the Snapdragon 778G+ chipset, whereas the Reno 9 Pro will be equipped with Dimensity 8100-Max SoC. The Reno 9 Pro+ will be a flagship phone featuring the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset.

All three phones are expected to house a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 front-facing camera. The Reno 9 is expected to feature a 64-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera setup. The Pro model will have a Sony IMX890 50-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens.

The Reno 9 Pro+ will be equipped with an OIS-enabled Sony IMX890 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The series will run on Android 13 OS with ColorOS 13 on top. The vanilla and Pro model will pack a 4,500mAh battery with 67W charging. The Pro+ will house a 4,700mAh battery with 80W charging.
