OPPO Vice President has claimed that he has been using a confidential smartphone and it has been photographed yet. He has also confirmed that it is the Gundam version. Probably, he is hinting the arrival of OPPO Reno Ace Gundam Edition smartphone. It is not the first time that the company teamed up with Japanese science fiction media franchise named Gundam. In May, the company was rumored to debut Gundam Edition OPPO smartphone.
OPPO will be announcing the Reno Ace flagship phone on Oct. 10. The Chinese manufacturer is also expected to unleash the OPPO K5 and OPPO Reno2 F at the same event. The Reno Ace has a display that supports 90Hz refresh rate and the presence of Snapdragon 855+ mobile platform makes it ideal for gaming. Hence, the company could be working on a Gundam version of the phone. Probably, the OPPO Reno Ace Gundam Edition may also go official on Oct. 10.

The OPPO Reno Ace has a 6.5-inch AMOLED full HD+ display with in-screen fingerprint sensor. It may come with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. It has a 4,000mAh battery with 65W SuperVOOC technology. The 48-meagpixel + 13-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel quad camera and a 16-megapixel camera are available on the phone for photography.
