After launching the OPPO Reno4 5G and Reno4 Pro 5G back in June this year, the Chinese smartphone maker is now looking to revitalize its Reno4 series lineup with a more affordable Reno4 SE 5G.
In terms of design, the Reno4 SE 5G looks pretty much like the OPPO F17 series smartphones which was recently launched in India. The device is built around a 6.59-inches AMOLED display with FHD+ screen resolution. It comes with a single hole-punch design which comes with a 32 megapixels selfie camera.
Over at the back, there will be a triple cameras setup housed within a squarish camera island. These cameras include a 48 megapixels (f/1.7 aperture) primary shooter, 8 megapixels ultra-wide (f/2.2 aperture) ultra-wide lens, as well as a 2 megapixels (f/2.4 aperture) macro camera.
Under the hood, the OPPO Reno4 SE 5G is helmed by a 5G-ready MediaTek Dimensity 720 chipset paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage. Sad to say, the storage capacity will be non-expandable on the device.
The Reno4 SE will draw power from a respectable 4,300mAh battery with SuperVOOC 2.0 flash charging support. It will be shipped with ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10 OS. Other than that, the device also include an in-display fingerprint scanner a 3.5mm headphone jack.
For those who’re interested, the OPPO Reno4 SE 5G will be available in a total of three different color variants Blue, White and Black. In the Chinese market, the device will be priced at 2,499 Yuan (US$370/ S$501) and 2,799 Yuan (US$414/ S$561) respectively for its 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB models.
