OPPO Reno5 A officially announced with Snapdragon 765G & 64MP Quad-cameras

Recently, an upcoming OPPO smartphone dubbed as the OPPO Reno5 A was spotted on Google Play Console. Now, this device has apparently been quietly announced in the Japanese market.

The OPPO Reno5 A sports a 6.5” LCD display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. The phone comes with a hole-punch cutout on the upper-left corner which houses a 16 megapixels selfie camera.

Around the back of the device, there’s a rectangular camera island which host a quad-camera setup consisting of a 64 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera, 2 megapixels monochrome camera, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera. On top of that, there’s also a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner as well.

Under the hood, the OPPO Reno5 A is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 765G chipset which is paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage in the memory department. Interestingly, it do support microSD card for further memory expansion as well.

At the helm, the phone is fueled by a respectable 4,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. On the software-side, it’s shipped with ColorOS 11 based on Android 11 OS. Other than that, other noteworthy feature include it’s NFC connectivity and the presence of a 3.5mm headphone jack.

For those who’re interested, the OPPO Reno5 A is available in both Silver Black and Ice Blue colorways. At the moment, the official pricing of the phone has yet to be announced.
