When the OPPO Reno8 5G smartphone was first launched in the Chinese market last month, the phone was available in a trio of colors such as Black, Blue and Gold. One month down the road, the company is now back with the forth color option known as Iris Purple in it’s domestic market.
Like any other new color variants, there won’t be any changes to it’s underlying hardware specs apart from the cosmetic difference. As such, the new Iris Purple Reno8 5G will arrive with the same 6.43” AMOLED display with FHD+ screen resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, as well as a 32 megapixels front-facing camera.
On the imaging front, the Reno8 5G relies on a triple-camera array lead by a 50 megapixels main camera along with a 2 megapixels monochrome camera as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera. It’ll be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset and is backed by a 4,500mAh battery with 80W fast-charging support.
For those who’re interested, the Iris Purple Reno8 5G is available in both 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB variants which will be priced at 3,199 Yuan ($478) and 3,499 Yuan ($522) in the Chinese market.
