Well-known tipster Digital Chat Station has shared a real-life image of the alleged OPPO Reno8 smartphone. The leak reveals that it is powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 7-series mobile platform. Previous reports have claimed that the Reno8 will be the first smartphone to arrive with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 onboard.

Like the predecessor models, the OPPO Reno8 will feature an AMOLED panel with a punch-hole design. The screen seems to be integrated with a fingerprint scanner and appears to be blessed with thin bezels. Unfortunately, the rear design of the phone is still a mystery.
The image also showcases the specifications of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset. As can be seen, the SoC comprises four Cortex A710 CPU cores working at 2.36GHz and four Cortex A510 CPU cores ticking at 1.80GHz. The 4nm chip also includes the Adreno 662 graphics. Rumors are rife that the SD7G1 chip will be announced in May. It is likely that the Reno8 series will go official soon after the announcement of the chip.
OPPO Reno8 Specifications
Past reports have revealed that the OPPO phone with PGAM10 will debut in China as the OPPO Reno8. The PGAM10 has appeared in the database of 3C certification platform with an 80W charger. Hence, it appears that the Reno8 will support 80W fast charging.
As far as specs are concerned, the Reno8 is likely to feature a 6.5-inch AMOLED panel that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The SD7G1 powered phone may come with LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and a 4,500mAh battery. For selfies, it will have a 32-megapixel camera and its back panel will have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary camera. It will be accompanied by 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel auxiliary cameras.
