OPPO’s First Smart TVs to Launch on October 19

OPPO has been teasing the arrival of its first OPPO TV since the past few months. Recent reports claimed that it will finally go official in this month. Today, the Chinese firm has released an official confirmation that the OPPO TV will break cover on Oct. 19.

Based on the reports surrounding the OPPO TV have revealed that the company will be announced at least two TVs on Oct. 19. The OPPO TV could be made official in 55-inch and 65-inch screen sizes.

The model numbers of these two TVs are A65U0B00 and A55U0B00 since they were spotted at the database of the 3C certification platform of China last month. Both TVs are expected to sport QLED 4K panels.

The teaser that was released by the company had revealed that the OPPO TV is equipped with a pop-up selfie camera. Both TVs are rumored to support a 120Hz refresh rate along with a MEMC chip, and speakers powered by the Danish brand. As far as design is concerned, the OPPO TVs are expected to flaunt ultra-thin bezels.

The RC-001D and BRC-004A are model numbers of the Bluetooth-enabled remote controls for the upcoming OPPO TVs. Lastly, the OPPO TV will be built by TPV Display Technology which is known for brands like AOC, Envision, and Philips TV business.

With Oct. 19 launch date a few days away, OPPO is expected to reveal some official information on the new OPPO TVs before the official announcement.
