Official: POCO C40 will be launching on June 16th

After launching the POCO C31 last year, POCO has now confirmed that the company will be launching a new C series smartphone known as the POCO C40 in the global market on June 16th. Despite being marketed under the POCO branding, the device is expected to be a rebranded model of the new Redmi 10 smartphone which was launched in India back in March this year.

As such, we can expect the forthcoming POCO C40 smartphone to arrive with a spacious 6.7” LCD display featuring a HD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, as well as a 5 megapixels front-facing camera tucked into it’s waterdrop-notch along it’s upper bezel.

Over on the rear side, the POCO C40 is likely to sport a square-shaped camera island which houses a pair of cameras comprising of a 50 megapixels main camera and a 5 megapixels depth unit for portrait shots. To assist with low-light photography, the POCO C40 also features a LED flash unit which sits perpendicularly to the rear cameras.

Likewise, the phone is also expected to be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 680 chipset which is likely to be accompanied by at least 4GB RAM and 64GB built-in storage in the memory department. To keep it’s lights on, the phone will also be backed by a respectable 6,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support.
