Xiaomi has recently introduced Poco as its new sub-brand in India. Today, through a new tweet, the company has confirmed that it will be launching the Poco F1 smartphone on Aug. 22 in New Delhi, India.
The above tweet does not contain any information on the specs of the phone, but the “Master of Speed” text present on it reveals that it will deliver blazing fast performance. Rumors have it that the Poco F1 is driven by Snapdragon 845 SoC.

Leaked information has already revealed that the Poco F1 will be featuring a notched display that supports an aspect ratio of 18.7:9. The big notch of the phone is expected to include a flood illuminator and an IR camera to support facial recognition in dim light conditions.
The Snapdragon 845 of the Poco F1 could be assisted by 6 GB of RAM. For heat dissipation, the smartphone is rumored to include a liquid cooling system. The internal storage of Poco F1 is 128 GB of storage. For additional storage, it may feature a microSD card slot.
The other features of the Poco F1 includes 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera system and a front-facing camera of 20-megapixel. It could be fueled by 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0.
Apart from India, Indonesia and European countries are also expected to receive the Poco F1. However, the company is yet to confirm on the launch of the smartphone in regions outside of India.
