POCO F2 Pro goes official with Snapdragon 865, 64MP Quad-cameras & 4,700mAh battery

After much anticipation, the long awaited POCO F2 Pro finally made its debut in the European market today. This device essentially, is a rebranded version of the current Redmi K30 Pro with the same design and specs.

Starting with its front display, the POCO F2 Pro arrives with a notch-less front display which measures 6.67-inches diagonally. This is a Super AMOLED display which has a FHD+ screen resolution and carries support for 60Hz refresh rate and HDR10+. This time round, the device employs a motorized pop-up camera module to house its 20 megapixels selfie camera.

Over at the back, the POCO F2 Pro has a unique circular camera module which play host to a total of four cameras including a 64 megapixels Sony IMX686 main shooter (with OIS support), 5 megapixels telemacro lens, 13 megapixels ultra-wide lens with 123 degrees field-of-view, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor.

Under the hood, the POCO F2 Pro is driven by the latest Snapdragon 865 platform coupled with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage space. In terms of connectivity, the device is capable of supporting the latest 5G network in both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) modes.

To provide better entertainment experience for its users, the POCO F2 Pro also has a LiquidCool 2.0 cooling system baked underneath the device to moderate its temperature after hours graphic-intensive usage.

To keep it’s lights on, there will also be a massive 4,700mAh battery which supports up to 30W fast-charging. On the software-side, the device will run on the Poco Launcher 2.0 based on Android 10.

For those who’re interested, the POCO F2 Pro will be available in four different colorways including Neon Blue, Phantom White, Electric Purple, as well as Cyber Grey. In terms of pricing, the device will be priced at 499 Euro (US$542) and 599 Euro (US$651) respectively for its 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB models.

In comparison to other recent Chinese flagship models including the Realme X50 Pro and OnePlus 8, the POCO F2 Pro is definitely a more affordable model even though its priced higher than its predecessor.
