POCO is reportedly working on the POCO F5 and POCO F5 Pro smartphones. Reports have revealed that these devices have model numbers 23049PCD8G and 23013PC75G, respectively. The vanilla model has been approved by the FCC authority, through which some of its key details have been revealed.
The FCC listing revealed that the POCO F5 has connectivity features like dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and an IR blaster. It will run on MIUI 14-based Android 13 OS. The listing further reveals that the device will be offered in three configurations: 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage.
The report has no information on the other specifications of the POCO F5. However, it appears that it will be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, which is expected to launch in China soon.
Reports have revealed that the Redmi Note 12 Turbo will have a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that will offer an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is likely to come equipped with an under-display fingerprint scanner.
The device is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 1, which is expected to debut at some point this month. It may arrive with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of built-in storage.
The Redmi Note 12 Turbo may feature a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. It could be backed by a 5,500mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.
