POCO is reportedly working on the POCO F5 and POCO F5 Pro smartphones. Rumours are rife that the vanilla model will be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, which is slated to debut by the end of this month in China. On the other hand, the POCO F5 Pro, could be a rebranded version of the Redmi K60 Pro that was announced in December 2022 in China. According to a report by 91mobiles, the POCO F5 will launch in the first week of April.
The publication said that the POCO F5 will come out on April 6 in India based on information from industry sources. At present, POCO is silent on the arrival of the POCO F5. However, there is a possibility that the official teasers of the smartphone may surface by the end of this month in India. Here is a look at the rumored specifications of the device.
POCO F5 Specifications (Rumored)
The Redmi Note 12 Turbo is expected to feature a 6.67 AMOLED display that produces an FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 chipset, which was announced last week in China.
The Redmi Note 12 Turbo’s highest configuration is expected to pack 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. It is likely to house a 5,500mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. The phone will run on Android 13 OS and MIUI 14.
The device is expected to feature a 16-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calls. The back panel of the device is likely to feature a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera system. Being a rebranded version, the POCO F5 is likely to pack the same specs as the Note 12 Turbo.
