Redmi Note 12S Tipped to Launch in Next Few Months

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) most recently approved a Redmi device with model number 2303CRA44A. The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) authority has also approved the same device. Reports have claimed that the 2303CRA44A device will arrive on the market with the Redmi Note 12S moniker. Now, tipster Mukul Sharma has claimed that the device will be launching soon in the market.

According to the tipster, the serial production of the Redmi Note 12S has started in European and Eurasian markets. The tipper further said that the device will launch in the next few months. This indicates that the device will not be announced on March 23 alongside other products, such as the Note 12 5G, Note 12 Pro 5G, and Note 12 Pro+ 5G.

To recall, the Note 11S supports 33W fast charging, whereas the successor model offers 67W rapid charging.

The Redmi Note 12S is expected to flaunt a 6.43-inch AMOLED Full HD+ display that offers a 90Hz refresh rate. The device is expected to come preloaded with Android 13 OS and MIUI 14. The power button available on its side is likely to be integrated with a fingerprint scanner.

The Note 12S will be a 4G device powered by the MediaTek Helio G96 chipset. It may come equipped with up to 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It is expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery. The Note 12S will have a 16-megapixel front-facing camera, and 108-megapixel quad rear cameras.
