POCO has already announced that it will be holding a global launch event tomorrow where the company is expected to unveil the brand new POCO M4 Pro 5G smartphone.
However, apart from the POCO M4 Pro 5G, it seems like the company has another surprise in store for us. According to the new teaser published by on it’s Twitter handle, POCO is also expected to launch a POCO F3-related product during tomorrow’s launch event.
Although the company doesn’t go into deep details on this, but it’s likely that the company could be launching a new color variant for the POCO F3 (Review) on top of the existing Arctic White, Night Black and Deep Ocean Blue colorways.
As a quick recap, the POCO F3 features a 6.67” AMOLED display which boasts a FHD+ screen resolution, and carries support for DCI-P3 color space and HDR10+. To sweeten the deal, it also brings along an ultra-smooth 120Hz refresh rate along with an impressive 360Hz touch sampling rate which is great for mobile gaming.
In the camera department, the POCO F3 arrives with a triple-camera setup lead by a 48 megapixels primary shooter along with an 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera and a 5 megapixels telephoto camera. Upfront, there’s also a 20 megapixels camera for selfie and video-calling purposes.
Under the hood, the POCO F3 is backed by an octa-core Snapdragon 870 chipset along with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage in the memory department. The phone draws power from a respectable 4,520mAh battery which carries support for 33W fast-charging which is capable of delivering a full charge within a short span of 52 minutes
