POCO X3 NFC Moniker Confirmed through IMDA Certification

A mysterious POCO phone with M2007J20CG model number has been spotted at various certification platform such as Indonesia’s TKDN, Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the U.S. and Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). Through the IMEI number found in the FCC listing, it was found that it is the POCO X3 phone. Now, the handset has bagged approval from the Infocomm Media Department Authority (IMDA) in Singapore. First spotted by tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, the IMDA certification confirms that the phone with M2007J20CG model number will be breaking cover as POCO X3.

The IMDA certification has not revealed any details on the specifications of the POCO X3. However, different certifications including its appearance at TUV Rheinland authority has revealed some of its key details.

POCO X3 Specifications (Rumored)

Rumors surrounding the POCO X3 has revealed that it will be sporting an AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. There is no confirmation on the display design of the smartphone.

Speaking of design, the rear shell of the POCO X3 has a thick textured strip running from the top to the bottom. There is a round-shaped camera module on the phone’s back. It has a 64-megapixel main. Probably, it could be featuring the same Sony IMX686 lens that came with the POCO X2 phone.

The successor of the POCO X2 will be arriving with a 5,160mAh battery that will support 33W fast charging. The handset has some support for connectivity features such as dual SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and Bluetooth 5.1.

The POCO X3 will run on MIUI 12 based Android 10 OS. Rumors have it that the phone is fueled by the Snapdragon 765G mobile platform. The handset may debut as early as next month.
