Since the beginning of this month, the rumor mill is speculating the arrival of the POCO X3 Pro. The reason behind it is that the handset has received approval from certification platforms like FCC in the U.S., Malaysia’s SIRIM, Singapore’s IMDA, Europe’s EEC, and BIS in India. These certifications have revealed that the model number of the device is M2102J20SG/I. Fresh information shared by tipster Debayan Roy, the POCO X3 Pro will break cover in the first or second week of March in India.
The same leakster had correctly speculated the launch date of the POCO X3 back in September. Hence, it is likely that the X3 Pro may indeed arrive in the coming month. Except for FCC, none of the other certifications have revealed concrete information on the specs of the device.
The FCC appearance had revealed that the POCO X3 Pro runs on MIUI 12 and it is equipped with connectivity features like NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
XDA Developers had recently report that ‘vayu’ and ‘bhima’ codenames are associated with POCO X3 Pro. It mentioned that the device is powered by the sm8150 chipset, which indicates that it could be powered by Snapdragon 855 o 855+ chip. The POCO X3 Pro is also speculated to feature a quad camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary lens.
The POCO X3 Pro will be an advanced version of the POCO X3 that launched in India last year. The POCO X3 came with specs like a 120Hz 6.67-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 732G chipset, 64-megapixel quad cameras, a 20-megapixel front camera, and a 6,000mAh battery with 33W rapid charging technology.
