POCO X3 Pro Bags FCC certification, May Arrive in India

POCO announced the Snapdragon 732G chipset-powered POCO X3 NFC phone in global markets in September 2020. In the same month, the company announced the POCO X3 phone in India with slight modifications. Fresh information shared by tipster Mukul Sharma reveals that the POCO X3 Pro handset has received certification from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). In addition, the handset is likely to arrive in India.

A new device with M2102J20SG appeared in the database of FCC today. The listing revealed a few things about the phone such as it is a 4G LTE device and it supports Wi-Fi 802.11ac. It is loaded with MIUI 12. It has been found through IMEI certification that the phone with the M2012J20SG model number may debut as the POCO X3 Pro.

The tipster also revealed that the IMEI number found in the FCC listing has been registered in India. This indicates that the handset could also be heading to India. In the recent weeks, it has been also spotted at other certification platforms such as Singapore’s IMDA, Europe’s EEC, and TUV. However, it is yet to be certified by India’s BIS authority.

It remains to be seen whether the POCO X3 Pro debuts an entirely new device like the POCO X3 or it arrives a rebranded version of a Xiaomi/Redmi phone. With a couple of certifications in tow, it appears that it may break cover in month or two.

POCO X3 NFC Specifications

The POCO X3 NFC came with specs like a 6.67-inch IPS LCD FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate support, Snapdragon 732g chipset, LPPDR4x RAM, UFS 2.1 storage, 20-megapixel front camera, a 64-megapixel quad camera, NFC support, and a 5.160mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. Its Indian version lacked NFC support and housed a bigger battery of 6,0000mAh capacity.
