Following the success of last year’s POCO X3 Pro 5G, POCO is now back with the all-new POCO X4 Pro 5G that comes along with plenty of new upgrades across various departments including the phone’s display as well as it’s imaging system.
Right off the bat, the POCO X4 Pro 5G sports an AMOLED DotDisplay which is a nice upgrade over the LCD display which was used on it’s predecessor. The display itself measures 6.67” diagonally and offers a sharp FHD+ screen resolution alongside a buttery-smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a slightly improved 300Hz touch sampling rate for quicker response.
On the rear side, the phone features a substantiate redesign which includes a sizeable rectangular camera module that sits horizontally in the upper-halve of it’s rear panel. This time round, POCO had also swapped the 48 megapixels main camera on the X3 Pro with a brushed up 108 megapixels imaging sensor which will supposedly offers clearer details in photos.
Also, the new 108MP main unit will be joint by an 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera and a 2 megapixels macro camera for close-up photography. This will be rounded out by a 16 megapixels front-facing camera to help with selfie and video calls on the device.
Under the hood, the POCO X4 Pro 5G will be backed by a fairly recent Snapdragon 695 5G chipset which was also found in the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G (Review). Other than that, the phone also features up to 8GB RAM (with Dynamic RAM Expansion Technology) and 256GB built-in storage in the memory department.
To keep it’s lights on, there will be a respectable 5,000mAh battery which carries support for a class-leading 67W wired charging speed which is able to deliver a full charge in merely 41 minutes.

For those who’re interested, the POCO X4 Pro 5G is available in a trio of colors such as Laser Black, Laser Blue, as well as the signature POCO Yellow. It’ll be available in both 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variants which are priced at S$399 and S$449 respectively in Singapore.
