A new smartphone that has a model number of BHM-AN10 has been certified by the 3C regulatory body of China. It is yet to be confirmed whether it is a Huawei or Honor smartphone. It is speculated that the BHM-AN10 could be an Honor 30 series smartphone.
The BMH-AN10 3C certification has revealed that it is a 5G-ready smartphone. The 3C listing that the smartphone will ship with a charger that supports up to 40W fast charging. The other details of the phone are currently under the wraps.
The Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro smartphones had debuted in May 2019. However, early rumors suggest that the Honor 30 series will debut earlier this year. The early arrival will let the Honor 30 models to compete with the OnePlus 8 lineup. The Honor 30 will also rival with the Redmi K30 Pro that is expected to break cover by the end of this month.
It is speculated that the Honor 30 could be codenamed as “Birmingham.” Hence, its model number could be “BMH-XXXX.” Last year’s Honor V30 smartphone which was codenamed as Oxford had “OXF-XXXX” model number.
The Honor 30 phones may come with higher refresh rate displays to take on its rivals. The Kirin 990 5G could be driving the Honor 30 and Honor 30 Pro smartphones. The Honor 20 duo were praised for their photography capabilities. Hence, the Honor 30 lineup is expected to deliver a better photography experience.
Huawei will be announcing the Huawei P40 series on March 26. It is likely that sub-brand Honor will start teasing on the arrival of the Honor 30 at some time in April and launch by the month end.
