Alleged Redmi Note 9 Pro Receives FCC Approval

A Redmi smartphone with M2003JA1G model number has been certified by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the U.S. The certification has leaked some of the key details of the smartphone. It is speculated the M2003JA1G could be the Redmi Note 9 Pro or Redmi Note 9 Pro Max smartphone.

The FCC listing reveals that the M2003JA1G smartphone is preinstalled with MIUI 11. The custom UI will be overlaid on the Android 10 OS on the device. The other things that have been revealed through the FCC listing is that the phone is backed by 4,920mAh capacity battery.

The M2003JA1G Redmi phone has a 4,920mAh battery. The device was found to be equipped with a 27W fast charger. Apart from introducing the Redmi Note 9 series on March 12, the company is also gearing up to launch the Redmi K30 this month.

The M2003JA1G Redmi phone does not seem to be the Redmi K30 Pro because it is expected to arrive with a 33W charger. Hence, the M2003JA1G smartphone could be the Redmi Note 9 or the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max smartphone.

Rumor surrounding the Redmi Note 9 series have revealed that the Pro model will be equipped with a punch-hole display and its Geekbench appearance suggested that it could be driven by the Snapdragon 720G processor. The handset may arrive in India in two variants such as 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro is expected to arrive in color editions like Aurora Blue, Glacier White, and Interstellar Black. The other details of the phone are currently under the wraps.
