Redmi Note 9 Pro appears on Geekbench with Snapdragon 720G SoC

Redmi has confirmed that the company will be holding an online launch event on February 12th where they will be unveiling the latest Redmi Note 9 smartphone.

Now, the “Pro” variant of the device had made it’s appearance on Geekbench with an impressive score of 569 points and 1,755 points for it’s single-core and multi-cores tests respectively.

Besides providing a good gauge for the device’s performance, the Geekbench listing had also shed some lights on its key specifications.

Most importantly, it confirmed that the Redmi Note 9 Pro will be driven by the Snapdragon 720G SoC. That’s in fact the same SoC which will be found on the upcoming Realme 6 Pro slated to be announced on March 5th.

Other than that, it will also come with 6GB worth of RAM under the hood as well. However, there will certainly be more RAM variants available for the device at launch. On the software-side, it is likely to run on the latest MIUI 11 based on Android 10 OS.

At current stage, there is no official words if the “Pro” variant will debut alongside the Redmi Note 9 during the March 12th launch event.
