On Nov. 17, Realme will launch the Realme 10, Realme 10 Pro, and Realme 10 Pro+ in China. It appears that the company is also working on a Snapdragon 8+ Plus Gen 1-powered Neo-series phone, which is tentatively called the Realme GT Neo 4. Popular tipster Digital Chat Station has claimed in the past that it will be a worthy rival for the Redmi K60. Yesterday, the tipster shared some details about the GT Neo 4’s specs. Today, he seems to be back with some new information about the device.
Without mentioning the name of the device, the tipster has claimed that it will feature a 6.7-inch OLED display that will offer a 1.5K resolution of 2772 x 1440 pixels. The screen will support 2160Hz PWM dimming.
The device will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset and 16 GB of RAM. On the front, it will feature a 16-megapixel Samsung S5K3P9 selfie camera. The device will have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main camera, an 8-megapixel OmniVision OV08D10 camera, and a 2-megapixel OmniVision OV02B10 lens on the back.
The smartphone will pack a 5,000mAh battery. If he is talking about the Realme GT Neo 4, then it is expected to arrive with support for 100W charging.
The comments section of the post as well as the inclusion of 16 GB of RAM suggest that he could be talking about the OnePlus Ace 2. The Ace 2 and GT Neo 4 may sport identical specifications because their predecessors were packed with the same specs. The OnePlus Ace was rebranded as the OnePlus 10R in markets outside of China. The Ace 2 may get renamed as the OnePlus 11R in other markets.
