Earlier this week, upcoming M1908C3IG and M1908C3KG Xiaomi phones were respectively certified as Redmi 8 and Redmi 8A by Thailand’s NBTC telecommunications authority. A new Redmi phone that has a model number of M1908C3KE has received approval from TENAA authority of China. The design of the phone suggests that it could be the Chinese variant of the Redmi 8A phone.
The blue colored device shown in the TENAA images that is believed to be the Redmi 8A has a waterdrop-style notch on its screen. The chin of the phone contains the Redmi branding. The right side of the phone has a volume rocker and a power key. The back panel of the phone has a simplistic appeal. The rear shell that seems to be made out of plastic has a single rear camera followed by an LED flash. The TENAA listing of the M1908C3KE has no details on its specs yet.
Rumors surrounding the Redmi 8A have claimed that it could be featuring a 6.1-inch HD+ display and it may come with up 3 GB of RAM and up to 64 GB of storage. The M1908C3IC that was previously certified by TENAA could be the Redmi 8 phone. It has a 6.2-inch HD+ display, 2.0GHz octa-core processor, up to 4 GB of RAM, up to 64 GB of storage and a 5,000mAh battery. It has a 12-megapixel dual camera system and a front camera of 8-megapixel.
