Vivo has three upcoming phones waiting to go official in China. The first one is Vivo V1950A that will most likely launch as Vivo NEX 3’s Snapdragon 865 edition. The second one is Snapdragon 765 powered Vivo V1963A phone. Its identity is currently under the wraps. The third one is Vivo V1955A that was recently spotted at the database of China’s 3C authority with a 55W fast charger. It is rumored to arrive as the Vivo iQOO 3 gaming smartphone. Today, a reliable Chinese tipster shared the key specs of an upcoming smartphone. It appears that he has leaked the specs of the iQOO 3 gaming phone.
According to the tipster, the mysterious phone has a 6.44-inch display that supports 1080 x 2400 pixels Samsung’s OLED display. The screen has a punch-hole on the top-right corner. It seems to be the very same display that is available on the Vivo X30 series, Vivo S5 and Vivo V17 (India edition). The company is likely to use the same display on the iQOO 3. Last year, all the iQOO phones featured waterdrop notch screens. Hence, it is likely that more iQOO phones arriving later this year could be equipped with punch-hole display.
The leak reveals that the phone supports 60Hz refresh rate. This is disappointing since the competitor phones such as Black Shark 3 will be arriving with a 120Hz display whereas the upcoming Red Magic phone will be equipped with a 144Hz display.
The Snapdragon 865 mobile platform will be powering the iQOO 3. The rear shell of the phone will be fitted with a 48-megapixel quad camera setup. It will be the first iQOO phone to feature quad rear cameras. The camera module will be placed at its top-left corner.
The iQOO 3 could be coming with a 4,410mAh battery. As revealed through 3C listing, the phone will be shipping with a 55W fast charger.
