Realme Vietnam has officially confirmed through its official Facebook account that it will be launching the Realme 5i smartphone in Vietnam of Jan. 6. Ahead of the launch, the Realme 5i has appeared FPT Shop, an online retailer from Vietnam. The handset is not yet available for purchase. However, interested buyers in the country can register for it.
Realme 5i’s renders that are available on the retailer site reveals that the phone will be available in Vietnam in two colors like Blue and Green. There is no word on the pricing of the phone. However, it is likely to be priced lower than Realme 5s that is selling for 4,999,000 VND ($216) in Vietnam. The Chinese firm is not selling the Realme 5 phone in the country. The specifications and design of the Realme 5i resembles with India’s Realme 5. Hence, it is likely that India’s Realme 5 could be rebadged as Realme 5i in the Vietnamese market. Other Southeast Asian markets like Singapore are also expected to receive Realme 5i phone.
Realme 5i Specifications and Features
The Realme 5i listing on FTP Shop reveals that it has a waterdrop notch IPS LCD display of 6.52 inches that offers HD+ resolution. It is powered by Snapdragon 665 and 4 GB of RAM. It has a native storage of 64 GB. The Android 9 Pie OS with ColorOS 6.1 will come preloaded on the device. The rear side of the phone has a 12-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel quad camera system and it has a front camera of 8-megapixel. The smartphone is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery. The phone may also come to Vietnam in 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage model.
