Redmi K30 4G Certified by BIS in India

Xiaomi had launched the Redmi K30 smartphone in China in December. The rumor mill has been speculating on its arrival in India and other markets. A new Xiaomi phone with model number M1912G7BI has been approved by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) in India. The Redmi K30 smartphone that has recently launched in China has a model number of M1912G7BE/C. Hence, it appears that the newly spotted M1912G7BI Xiaomi phone could be the 4G edition of the Redmi K30 that is heading to India since the country is not 5G-ready yet.

The BIS certification of M1912G7BI has no information on its specifications. Also, there is no confirmation on when Xiaomi India will be bringing the Redmi K30 smartphone in India. Redmi is expected to unleash the Redmi 9 entry-level smartphone in the first quarter of the coming year. There is a possibility that Redmi may unveil the Redmi K30 phone in the same quarter.

Redmi K30 Specifications

The Redmi K30 has a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display that offers full HD+ resolution. It has a 20-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera system housed in a pill-shaped punch-hole on the display. It has a side-facing fingerprint reader. The smartphone features 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel quad camera setup. It has a 4,500mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging.
