[Update: Realme 6] Realme 6 Pro has been certified by Singapore’s IMDA

Last month, we reported that the upcoming Realme 6i mid-ranger smartphone was certified by Singapore’s IMDA. Now, the highest-end model of the 6 series smartphones known as Realme 6 Pro, had been certified by IMDA as well.

Based on Realme’s nomenclature, the upcoming 6 series smartphones will be the successors to the company’s current 5 series lineup.

As of now, only two devices from the upcoming 6 series line were certified. However, we do believe there will be more to the 6 series lineup, including the Realme 6 and Realme 6s.

Last year, the 5 series smartphones was one of the best-selling smartphone series for the Chinese smartphone maker. In 2019 alone, Realme had sold more than 5.5 million smartphones from the Realme 5 series.

Besides the 6 series smartphones, Realme is also currently prepping a new entry-level smartphone dubbed as the Realme C3. Likewise, the company is also expected to announce the Realme X50 Pro flagship during the upcoming MWC 2020.

These upcoming devices will definitely strengthen the company’s mobile portfolio to help them achieve their 50 million sales target this year.

Update: Realme 6 has been certified as well.
