For the past few days, Realme has shed some lights on what to expect from the company’s upcoming Realme 6i entry-level smartphone which will be unveiled on March 17th.
Today, the company has revealed another piece of missing puzzles by confirming that the Realme 6i will sport a 48 megapixels main shooter for it’s quad-camera module. That’s certainly a huge upgrade over the current Realme 5i which only has a 12 megapixels main snapper.
In fact, both the newly announced Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro had also saw their main cameras upgrades to a 64 megapixels sensor as well. Therefore, high resolution cameras are slowly becoming a norm among Realme’s entry-level and mid-ranger smartphones in recent months.
Besides having a beefed up camera system, the Realme 6i will also support a rapid 18W fast-charging technology this time round. It will also be the first smartphone in the world to be driven by the latest MediaTek’s Helio G80 SoC.
In terms of design, the Realme 6i will share a similar design language as the current Realme 5i according to the real life images spotted at FCC last month. However, there will be a brand new White variant available for the Realme 6i which wan’t seen from the Realme 5i.
With all these improvements in store, Realme is definitely well set to become one of the leading smartphone maker in the budget smartphone segment this year.
