Realme started teasing the arrival of the Realme 8 series of smartphones from the beginning of this month. During the camera innovation event that was held on March 3, the company showcased the photography features that will be available on the Realme 8 Pro. At the event, the company also revealed the rear design of the phone. Today, Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth took to Twitter to share a hands-on video of what likes the Realme 8 Pro.
A glimpse of the Realme 8 Pro’s back panel can be seen at the beginning of the video. The blue-colored rear shell has a square-shaped camera module and an LED flash. As the company has already confirmed, the Realme 8 Pro will be its first midrange smartphone to sport a 108-megapixel main camera.
Flipping the device on the front reveals its punch-hole screen. The device is equipped with an in-screen fingerprint scanner, which will be a first for Realme’s number series smartphones. The inclusion of an in-screen fingerprint reader confirms that the handset is fitted with an AMOLED display. The exact size of the screen is not known yet.
The Realme 8 Pro will be sporting a 108-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HM2 camera. It is speculated that the handset could be equipped with the Snapdragon 730G.
Recently, a tipster revealed that the Realme 8 Pro will be available in 6 GB and 8 GB RAM variants. Both models may come with an internal storage of 128 GB. He added that the phone may sell in hues like Infinite Blue, Infinite Black, and Illuminating Yellow. There is no word on the pricing of the device.
