Smartphone brands in China are prepping up to launch new smartphones in the coming weeks. Honor recently confirmed that it will hold a launch event on Nov. 23 in China, probably to unveil the Honor 100 series of smartphones. Nubia has confirmed that its Red Magic 9 series of gaming-focused smartphones will also debut on the same day. Now, Realme has also revealed that the GT 5 Pro will be announced in November.
Now that Realme has confirmed the November launch for the Realme GT 5 Pro, it may go official by the end of the month. After the Xiaomi 14 series and the iQOO 12 series, the GT 5 Pro will be the third smartphone to come equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Realme GT 5 Pro specifications (rumored)
As per the TENAA listing of the Realme GT 5 Pro, it will feature a 6.78-inch OLED panel that offers a curved-edge design. It will produce a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. For selfies, it will have a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. According to reports, the device will be equipped with a Sony LYT-T808 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support, an OmniVision OV0810 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera that supports a 2.7x optical zoom.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered device may ship with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and a 5,400mAh battery. The device is expected to offer 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. It is likely to come with up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage and runs on Android 14 with a layer of Realme UI 5 on top.
The Realme GT 5 Pro may arrive in leather-back and glass-back variants. It is speculated that the device may cost around 4,000 Yuan ($550).
