Last month, Realme announced the company’s first flagship of the year known as the Realme GT 5G is in the Chinese market. Now, it seems like the company will soon be expanding its availability to the global market with India being among the first market to get this highly anticipated device.
According to a new forum post on Realme Community which covered an exclusive Q&A with Realme’s CMO Francis Wong, Wong revealed that he’s currently using the company’s “next flagship phone” which he said will be launched as part of the company’s 3rd-anniversary (in India) celebration.
Keeping in mind that the 3rd-anniversary falls on May 4th, its highly likely that the Realme GT could be unveiled somewhere during early May in India next month. However, its not known at the moment whether the company will also be launching the Realme GT Neo alongside the device as well.
As a quick recap, the Realme GT 5G sports a 6.43-inches FHD+ Super AMOLED display, 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, Snapdragon 888, 64MP triple-camera system, 16MP selfie camera, 4,500mAh battery, as well as 65W SuperDart charging support.
In the Chinese market, the device is priced at 2,899 Yuan (US$448) and 3,399 Yuan (US$525) respectively for its 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB variants. However, we do expect its pricing to be slightly higher in the global markets.
