After weeks of teasing, Realme has finally unwrapped the company’s first flagship of the year, Realme GT during a high profile launch event held in China.
Much like the recently announced Redmi K40 Pro, the Realme GT is also among one of the most affordable flagship phone in the market which is priced below 3,000 Yuan (US$464).
For starter, the Realme GT features a 6.43-inches Super AMOLED display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution, as well as a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a responsive 360Hz touch sampling rate.
On top of that, it also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner and has a 16 megapixels selfie camera housed within a hole-punch cutout.
At the helm, the Realme GT is powered by the latest Snapdragon 888 mobile platform which will be assisted by up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 flash storage in the memory department.
For photography, the Realme GT relies on a triple-camera system at back lead by a 64 megapixels primary shooter, 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera. In terms of videography, its capable of supporting 4K/60fps and 720p/480fps for ultra slow-mo.
To enhance gaming experience, the device comes with specialized software optimizations to bump up its overall performance. Other than that, it also features a linear vibration motor which brings 4D vibration during gaming for a more immersive experience.
On the audio side, its dual speakers are Hi-Res certified and the device actually comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack as well.
Keeping its lights on is a respectable 4,500mAh battery that come with support for 65W SuperDart charging. As usual, it runs on the custom Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 OS.
For those who’re interested, the Realme GT is available in three different colorways including Galactic Silver, Deep Sea Blue, as well as Racing Yellow which sports a leather-like finish.
The Realme GT is priced at 2,899 Yuan (US$448) and 3,399 Yuan (US$525) respectively for its 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB variants.
